UBTECH complies with all applicable export control and economic sanction laws and regulations (including but not limited to those enacted by China, the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, and other countries or organizations). The Board of Directors and the Compliance Adherence Committee fully support export control compliance efforts and are committed to providing ample resources to ensure the continuous optimization of export control compliance on a global scale.
UBTECH has issued "Export Control Compliance Management System" and other compliance policy documents, conducting comprehensive risk screenings and assessments, and implementing corresponding control measures. Export control compliance measures are integrated into various business processes, including research and development, sales, procurement, operations, human resources, and financial management, to ensure that all transactional activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
UBTECH provides various forms of publicity and training to management and employees company-wide, ensuring they fully understand how export control and economic sanction laws and regulations apply to their work, and offering specific compliance guidance for particular scenarios. Furthermore, UBTECH internalizes compliance capabilities and strengthens awareness through a compliance assessment mechanism.
UBTECH has established a mechanism for export control audits and violation reporting, requiring complete transaction records for compliance audits and inspections. Any employee or partner has the right to report any actual or potential compliance issues or violations. UBTECH has a zero-tolerance policy towards violations of export control and economic sanction laws and regulations. Upon discovery, UBTECH will terminate all business dealings with partners found to be in violation and impose disciplinary action on employees who violate regulations, which may result in dismissal.
